Century Game Park

Rod Potter is a master story teller and you will learn how his family carved this scenic 150-year-old homestead out of the forests left behind by the glaciers. Naturally raised bison and elk products available, discover what makes this meat so unique. Visitors can see first hand this splendid hump backed animal grazing as it did in prehistoric times, when it was hunted and worshiped by nomadic tribes of ancient ancestry. Curle’s Maple Product, Since 1862

Marc and Diane Curle strive to keep time honoured traditions alive at this Ontario Century Farm where for more than 150 years the Curle family has been making maple syrup. You will learn about the history syrup in the Maple Museum and see where it’s maple syrup is made today in the Sugar Shack. This farm has maple syrup, butter and sugars available year-round. Open most days 10 am to 5 pm, closed Sundays May to December.
A stunning four-acre display garden open for guided walking group tours June through August. Your host Dennis Gebhardt is a Canadian Peony Society member with a large collection of more than 300 peonies. Reservations required.

Your selections will be freshly dug, bagged and ready for their new home. Visitors will also find numerous sun and shade loving perennials spread over 2 acres. Throughout the property visitors will find water features, split rail structures and other areas of interest. Come and visit, walk among the daylilies or stroll through the gardens. Open all of July. Dawn and Melody are your hosts for this tour to learn why alpaca owners are so passionate about their animals and the luxurious products they produce. Visit the farm and meet the alpacas or purchase alpacas, handmade and machine made Canadian and Peruvian alpaca products, yarn and rovings, or alpaca beans. We welcome farm tours and will also do educational sessions for young and old. Reservations recommended.
