The Tamarack Shack

Jules and Tim are homesteaders who take pride in sharing the beauty and experience of their land. For over 25 years, they have cared for 100 acres—planting 35,000 trees, digging ponds, and restoring the soil once used for sheep and cattle farming. Their journey began in a small 10×10 cabin they built by hand from tamarack trees, affectionately named “The Tamarack Shack.” It’s where their story began and how their homestead got its name.

Today, they tend flourishing gardens, care for a lively mix of animals—birds, goats, sheep, ponies, alpacas, pigs, bees, and rabbits—and invite visitors to enjoy farm adventures that include animal time, trail walks, and exploring the labyrinth. Their roadside stand features fresh eggs, seasonal produce, honey, maple syrup, and handmade goods. LEARN MORE
