Campbellford Santa Claus Parade
Saturday, November 21 at 2 pm
Start celebrating the holiday season in Campbellford with the annual Tree-mendous parade with floats, music and more! Follow the Campbellford Santa Claus Parade Facebook page for updates. After the parade, check out the beautiful holiday displays in the downtown shops and restaurants! At 3:30 pm, a FREE (courtesy of the Campbellford BIA) screening of “The Grinch” (2018) will be at the Aron Theatre Co-op (doors open at 3:00 pm and the theatre fills quickly, so plan to be there early!). The annual tree lighting ceremony happens in the town square at 5 pm, along with carolling, cookies and hot cocoa. There will also be a free tree raffle courtesy of the Campbellford BIA. Donations to the food bank or toy drive are welcome.
Warkworth Santa Claus Parade
Friday, December 4 at 7 pm
Join the Village of Warkworth on Friday, December 4, at 7 pm for the annual evening holiday parade, Small Town, Big Christmas Spirit! 2-legged and 4-legged friends alike will be strolling, marching, drumming, and prancing to the beat of the season. Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance, and Santa himself will be at the Town Hall after the parade to meet the little ones and hear their Christmas wishes! Hastings Trail Town Christmas
December 4 to 6
Look for specials and promotions running in the village of Hastings. Discover the village’s unique shops, savour delicious dishes at local eateries, indulge in sweet seasonal treats, and enjoy a variety of holiday activities. The Hastings Children’s Fest takes place on Saturday, December 5 at the Hastings Branch of the Trent Hills Public Library with snacks, holiday movies, crafts, face painting and photos with Santa and the Grinch!
Warkworth Cookie Extravaganza & Festival of Trees
Saturday, November 29, then Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7
On Saturday, November 29, head to St. Paul’s United for the Cookie Extravaganza from 10 am to 1 pm, where you can pick up all your holiday baking. From December 5 to 7, check out the over thirty decorated trees for auction at the Red Barn, located on the Warkworth Fairgrounds. Both are fundraisers for the Percy Agricultural Society.
